Experience Living Art with Nicky’s Nice Plants

Our latest project brought excitement and a bit of challenge as we transformed a charming courtyard pool. The goal was to rejuvenate an inviting outdoor space by giving the pool and its surroundings a fresh life through meticulous renovation techniques. It was a delightful opportunity to enhance the beauty of this small urban paradise. We started with draining and thoroughly cleaning the pool to remove years of built-up grime and debris. This crucial step set the stage for the subsequent resurfacing work. Bringing the old tiles back to their former glory involved a significant amount of care and precision, ensuring each tile was perfectly aligned and gleaming by the end. Given the cozy confines of the courtyard, integrating the natural environment with the hardscape was essential. We carefully pruned and maintained the existing greenery surrounding the pool, maximizing the available space while ensuring a seamless blend of nature and design. Subtle plantings were strategically placed to balance aesthetics with practicality, enhancing privacy while maintaining a feeling of openness. The next phase involved upgrading the lighting and stonework. Installing new fixtures and polishing existing surfaces not only improved safety but also added a touch of elegance that echoes the vibrant character of New Orleans itself.
